If you consent, Google AdSense may set the following cookies for ad personalization and fraud prevention:

These cookies are only set after you choose "Accept all" in the consent banner. Until then the AdSense script is not loaded at all, so it cannot read from or write to your device. Choosing "Reject non-essential" keeps it that way.
How to change your choices
Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. That re-opens the banner with the same two options, so withdrawing your consent takes exactly as many clicks as giving it did. If you had previously accepted, the page reloads so that the ad script is gone immediately rather than at your next visit. You can also clear this site's storage through your browser settings.
